The next time you eat carrots don’t overlook the healing and valuable nutrients contributing to the optimal health you can achieve.

Carrots contain amounts of Vitamin B, C, K iron, potassium. zinc, copper, selenium, and calcium. Importantly carrots are the richest source of Bet-Carotene which one of the most effective pro-vitamin A, Carotenoids an essential vitamin.

The body converts Carotenoids like Beta-Carotene into pro-vitamin A.

If you just happen to be vegan or vegetarian the Beta-Carotene conversion is the only way Vitamin A can be sourced.

Some carrot beverages I recommend are carrot burgers, carrot soup, carrot juice, carrot cake, or perhaps some nutritious carrot porridge?

However you prefer to consume carrots, they are an essential part of a good diet.

Tinned and frozen carrots should be avoided.
